Reiterating Government of India’s commitment to gender equality, NITI Aayog, along with the UN in India and MyGov, is celebrating ‘Women Transforming India.’ Through this campaign we want to acknowledge the contribution of women making a difference across India’s cities, town and villages. We want them to be a part of the policy dialogue on women.
As part of this ongoing effort, we are pleased to announce interaction with NITI Aayog Member, noted economist and author, Mr.Bibek Debroy held on Monday, April 4th, 2016 at 2 pm, Mr.Debroy’s interaction will address a wide range of issues dealing with the policy and legislation on women in India, the correlation between investment in women and child development and India’s growth and the impact of schemes for women and the girl child, among others.
