This documentary profiles the challenges faced by Lawyers Collective and other women’s rights organizations in drafting and implementing India’s domestic violence law. UN Women supported the work on this legislation as well as the making of the documentary. Through interviews with survivors of violence and women’s activists, the documentary traces the achievements and tribulations of their long journey to justice.

Bell Bajao
A public service advertisement urges local residents to take a stand against physical abuse of women in their neighbourhood. This was part of a larger campaign against domestic violence in India, in partnership with the Breakthrough Trust and the Government of India.
